Bank of America (BAC) Stock Still Looks Like A Bargain Following Its 139% Run

Bank of America stock has delivered a 138.5% return over the past three years, yet current valuation checks indicate the shares still sit below an intrinsic value estimate from the Excess Returns model and also screen as undervalued on earnings based multiples. A 138.5% three year return puts Bank of America among the stronger performers in large cap financials, which raises the bar for what counts as an attractive entry price now. The joint venture with Jio Financial Services in India and...

ExxonMobil (XOM) Stock Could Be A Bargain On Cash Flow Despite Rich Earnings

ExxonMobil Holdings has delivered a very strong run for shareholders over the past five years, yet valuation checks still suggest the stock trades at a discount to its intrinsic value estimate based on a Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) approach and on earnings multiples. The stock has returned 247.7% over the past five years, which puts current buyers in the position of weighing recent gains against what still screens as a discount to estimated intrinsic value. Record production and continued...

Emerson (EMR) Stock Trades Near Fair Value Despite Raised Guidance

Emerson Electric stock has delivered a strong 79.2% return over the past three years. However, the valuation checks suggest it no longer looks like an obvious bargain, even as interest in its AI driven automation and software story builds. Over the past three years Emerson Electric has returned 79.2%, which puts more pressure on the current share price to be supported by the company’s cash flow and earnings profile. Recent AI focused product moves and acquisitions may support expectations...

Can Astronics (ATRO) Justify A Premium Price On Cash Flow And Earnings?

Astronics stock has produced a very strong run over the past five years, yet the current share price sits at a clear premium to what both the Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) intrinsic value estimate and the broader valuation checks suggest. With the stock up sharply in recent periods and every major valuation framework pointing to an expensive reading, investors are being asked to pay up for the current story. Astronics has delivered a roughly 7x total return over the past five years, which puts...

Affirm Holdings (AFRM) Could Be 7% Undervalued On Its Growth Narrative

Ford to move production of some Lincoln cars from China to U.S.

Ford to move production of some Lincoln cars from China to U.S.

STORY: :: Nora Eckert, Autos Correspondent

:: Detroit, Michigan/ August 12, 2026

Why is Ford moving some auto production from China to the U.S.? Ford is moving production of its Lincoln models for the U.S. market out of China, back to the U.S. This is a substantial move for Ford, as it faces pretty hefty tariffs under the Trump administration. One of its Lincoln models, the Nautilus, had about 52.5% tariffs that it had been facing for the last year.

Ford CEO Jim Farley told us that the automaker had been preparing to make this move for some time. I mean, these tariffs have been in place for many months now, and that although Ford has a very strong U.S. production base, it found capacity to move even more production to the US from China.

Discussions around what Ford was going to do with its China produced models came up several months ago, as we were examining some reporting around the Connected Vehicle Rule, which is a Commerce Department regulation that bans the use of connected vehicle software and hardware from China in the U.S. And Ford has one particular model produced in China, the Lincoln Nautilus, that they previously said they might need to seek a specific authorization from Commerce to continue selling in the U.S.

But Ford told us this week that they no longer needed an authorization that the vehicle was able to sell in the U.S without any Commerce approval. U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick told us that Ford's move is really encouraging, and that he wants to see more automakers following this pattern. We already saw GM onshore production of its Buick Envision model from China to the U.S., and we might be seeing more of these announcements as automakers confront a tariff landscape that seems here to stay.

The 5 Most Interesting Analyst Questions From Viasat’s Q2 Earnings Call

Viasat’s second quarter results disappointed the market, with revenue falling short of Wall Street expectations and shares declining following the announcement. CEO Mark Dankberg emphasized that growth within the Defense and Advanced Technology (DAT) segment, particularly new contract awards a
