
Semiconductor machinery manufacturer Applied Materials (NASDAQ:AMAT) reported Q2 CY2026 results beating Wall Street’s revenue expectations, with sales up 24.8% year on year to $9.12 billion. On top of that, next quarter’s revenue guidance ($10.25 billion at the midpoint) was surprisingly good and 6.1% above what analysts were expecting. Its non-GAAP profit of $4.02 per share was 18.4% above analysts’ consensus estimates.
