
Materials and photonics company Coherent (NYSE:COHR) reported Q2 CY2026 results beating Wall Street’s revenue expectations, with sales up 33.7% year on year to $2.05 billion. On top of that, next quarter’s revenue guidance ($2.3 billion at the midpoint) was surprisingly good and 7.4% above what analysts were expecting. Its non-GAAP profit of $1.74 per share was 7.6% above analysts’ consensus estimates.
