Ride sharing and on-demand delivery platform Uber (NYSE:UBER) met Wall Street’s revenue expectations in Q2 CY2026, with sales up 12.2% year on year to $14.19 billion. Its non-GAAP profit of $0.81 per share was in line with analysts’ consensus estimates.
Uber Technologies notched higher revenue in second quarter, driven by growth in its delivery business as the company continues to grow volumes and active users.
Uber Technologies forecast current-quarter adjusted earnings below Wall Street estimates on Wednesday, saying that foreign exchange would trim bookings growth and reaffirming plans to invest heavily in robotaxis and acquisitions. The global ride-hailing and delivery giant's capital allocation has become a key investor focus after it announced a $14.8-billion deal for Delivery Hero last month, which it plans to fund with existing liquidity and debt. The company on Wednesday also outlined plans to spend more than $10 billion on autonomous vehicles over the coming years, but did not provide a specific timeline.
