Dell Technologies (NYSE: DELL) and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) are rising in sympathy ahead of the open, as investors treat SMCI’s results as a live demand barometer for the entire AI server hardware sector. When SMCI previously reported disappointing results, Dell shares fell in tandem — and the reverse dynamic is now playing out. DELL is up 2.6%, while HPE is up 2.2%.

Super Micro Computer (NASDAQ:SMCI) shares jumped 10. 1% in premarket trading after the AI server specialist reported fiscal 2026 fourth-quarter results that delivered a significant earnings beat alongside a stronger-than-expected outlook for the coming year.

Shares of CoreWeave and Super Micro Computer climbed premarket on Wednesday after upbeat forecasts from the two AI infrastructure companies reinforced demand expectations for computing capacity. Shares of neocloud provider CoreWeave rose more than 18%, with peer Nebius Group rising 10%. Server maker Super Micro's shares climbed nearly 9%.

Stocks tied to the AI trade are back on top this morning after stellar results from CoreWeave and Super Micro Computer. Cloud-computing company CoreWeave reported its fifth consecutive quarter of record revenue and a sales backlog of $104 billion yesterday—in the latest sign of continued strength of demand for AI computing. Server company Super Micro Computer reported sales that nearly doubled in its fiscal fourth quarter and surging profit.

Stock futures were rising on Wednesday after cloud computing company CoreWeave, optical networking company Lumentum, and server maker Super Micro all reported solid quarterly results, breathing some life into the AI trade ahead of the July inflation report.

Investing.com -- Super Micro Computer Inc. (NASDAQ: SMCI) sent shares rallying 9% after reporting robust fourth-quarter profits and issuing aggressive forward guidance that blew past Wall Street consensus. The blowout outlook served as a sharp positive surprise for investors, who had braced for headwind after the AI server provider signaled soft Q4 revenue in its preliminary update on July 21.

The server company reported a quarterly profit of $1.17 billion, up from $195.2 million in the year-ago period.

Super Micro reported adjusted earnings of $1.70 per share, compared to the 92 cents per share analysts were expecting.

Supermicro trounced Wall Street's earnings target for its fiscal Q4 and guided well above views for the current quarter. SMCI stock jumped.

Super Micro Computer on Tuesday forecast fiscal 2027 revenue above Wall Street expectations, betting that strong demand for its AI-optimized servers would fuel another year of growth. Shares of the company rose 9% in extended trading following the results. The server maker has been a winner in the race to equip data centers for generative AI, leveraging its close relationships with chipmakers and its reputation for speed-to-market.
