Arista Networks stock soared Tuesday after the network infrastructure company reported better-than-expected second-quarter earnings. The results provided further evidence that demand for artificial-intelligence services is accelerating, with hardware suppliers like Arista among the main beneficiaries. Arista reported adjusted earnings of $1.02 a share for the second quarter, up from 73 cents last year and above analysts’ call for 89 cents, per FactSet.
Pinterest stock fell late Tuesday, despite reporting second-quarter results that topped expectations. Pinterest's in-line third-quarter guidance may have been a disappointment after rival digital ad platforms Reddit and Snap offered stronger forecasts. The San Francisco-based Pinterest earned an adjusted 43 cents per share for the June-ended quarter, up 30% from a year earlier and ahead of the 36 cents per share that analysts polled by FactSet were forecasting.
SpaceX’s capital expenditure was dominated by AI-related costs in the quarter and came in at $18.4 billion.

Aerospace and defense company Kratos (NASDAQ:KTOS) reported Q2 CY2026 results beating Wall Street’s revenue expectations, with sales up 30.5% year on year to $458.8 million. Guidance for next quarter’s revenue was better than expected at $470 million at the midpoint, 1.1% above analysts’ estimates. Its non-GAAP profit of $0.21 per share was 44.4% above analysts’ consensus estimates.
