Broadcom ‌forecast third-quarter revenue above Wall Street expectations on ‌Wednesday, betting on robust demand for its custom AI chips ​and networking gear. However, shares of the Palo Alto, California-based company fell more than 2% in extended trading. They had gained nearly 8% last week in the run ‌up to earnings.

This week, tech investors will be watching chip and cybersecurity earnings, the impact of AI on labor market data, and the Computex annual chip summit.

The data-center boom is still going strong for Marvell Technology The chip company reported better-than-expected first-quarter revenue and sees higher revenue than expected in the current quarter. Marvell reported revenue of $2.42 billion, compared with Wall Street estimates of $2.41 billion, according to FactSet. Adjusted earnings for the quarter of 80 cents per share were in-line with analyst expectations.
